Nate Bishop and the the Lockness Monsters had a very successful postseason. They entered the playoffs as the #7 seed in the Riney Conference. They went on to beat the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th seeds in the conference to be able to compete for the championship against the #3 Sullivan Smashers.
The Smashers had the lead 38-35 going into the Sunday night game and needed the Rams to win. However, with the Seahawks winning, that gave the Monsters the 4 points they needed to seal the victory.
This is the second championship for the Lockness Monsters, the first one coming back in 2016. Congratulations again to Nate Bishop, and good luck in your title defense in 2021!
