Congratulations to all Week 1 winners!
It was great to be back on the ice, and the scores really showed that the coaches were ready to go! The high score of the week was John DiGiovanni's Providence Bruins, scoring 14 points. Rookie Todd Oliver and the Texas Stars scored 11 points, along with the Charlotte Rush, Danbury Trashers and California Seals. Unfortunately for the Trashers, they faced the Bruins, and took the loss.
Four games went into overtime, with the Thunderbirds, Dashers, Condors and Chihuahuas all taking overtime wins.
Now, we look ahead to week 2. Week 2 picks are due on Thursday night, October 28th, by 11:59pm ET. Please be sure to get those picks in before the deadline to avoid a forfeit!
