Jamie Dyke crossed the finish line at Phoenix winning the race and becoming a three-time Victory Lane Racing Craftsman Truck Series champion while doing so! 2024 was the second year in the series where there were no elimination races in the playoffs, so gone are the days of the one race champion. Jamie's playoff run saw him score two wins and three top five finishes, which was enough to defeat Steve Ruth for the title. Jamie's three-win championship season is the most wins by a champion since Corey Hardison won 3 times in his 2018 championship season.
Steve Ruth had a good season, scoring one win, 5 top-fives and 9 top-tens. His unfortunate 17th place finish at Phoenix is what killed his run in the end, having to settle for second overall in points, just thirty points back of Dyke.
Ron Blackman and Stephen DiCaprio both scored wins this season, finishing 3rd and 4th in the final standings. Curt Manning didn't win a race, but was the season's highest finishing rookie - coming home 5th in the final standings.
Darrell Cox and Steve Stone were the two players in 2024 to pick up their first career wins.
Our 20th season of competition comes to a conclusion, and we will look forward excitedly for our 21st season of Truck Series racing at Victory Lane Racing in 2025!
